Abstract
The present research entitled social representations of writing in basic education, in the areas of knowledge of mathematics, social sciences and Spanish language focuses on identifying and understanding the social representations of writing in basic education in mathematics, social sciences and Spanish language, based on three categories: Writing, Practices and social representations, allow the recognition of endogenous and exogenous factors of responsibility in the process of reading and writing that favors the cognition of the student body, recognizing which are the structural components that can generate dynamic strategies that strengthen and enrich the teaching and learning processes
